Proteus Digital Health is bringing a novel technology to market to help patients improve their medication adherence. Special pills, with embedded chips, communicate via a patch worn on the belly to relay information back to the patient on their mobile device. Our goal was to help patients understand the dynamic between activity, medication, energy level and blood sugar. We iterated on the design of the mobile software within the constraints of a clinical trial to match what patients understood and were motivated by.
